Renal Failure

renal failure

Author currently undergoing evaluation.

It seems that the author was unavailable for comment as he was too busy having cerebral reconstruction with the aid of some methylated spirits and a bungee cord suspended from the Brooklyn bridge.

I have absolutely no idea what his blog is about – it all seems terribly modern and upbeat. My nephew Quentin informs me that he is ‘wicked cool’ so that can’t be good. On the grounds that I am completely unqualified to make an informed decision regarding this matter I shall obviously offer him full membership active immediately.

I am with the Colonel all the way on this one. My one small reservation about Mr Failure is that he can only speak American. I suppose it doesn’t really matter that much, as no-one will understand anything he says anyway.

This is all going terribly well – my new position is quite exciting.

Bill Blunt

May 13, 2007

Bill Blunt and I have crossed swords several times over the years. From the bowling green to the bridge table he is a worthy adversary. But his martini mixing skills aren’t at question today – can the man blog?

Overall ‘Bluntbyname’ guards the stumps admirably, doing for blogging what Bob Geldof has done for starving. Stalwart is a word that creeps to mind. The foundations of an institution are being laid and the blogging fraternity can be sure that is where they will find Bill for years to come.

I nominate Bill for acceptance without resignation.

I fear that the Colonel has been too kind. Mr Blunt should be severely restricted in his access to the blogosphere. I would suggest that Mrs Blunt uses her ample proportions and sits on him.

Unfortunately I think that my opinion will be ignored by the Colonel – as usual. Our badges are rare, very rare indeed, and should NOT be awarded to the first person that applies!
